ROUNDS

How to use a round timer to train like you're at the gym

A good round timer replaces the coach who shouts "time!" — it keeps the pace with a bell, alerts and rest periods so all you have to do is train. Here's how to set up ROUNDS in four steps.

1. Pick a profile

Start with a preset profile — Boxing, MMA, Muay Thai or Tabata — with each discipline's standard times already loaded.

2. Adjust rounds and times

Change the number of rounds, how long each one lasts and the rest time with the +/- controls, until it fits your level or the day's workout.

3. Set preparation and the alert

Add a few seconds of preparation before the first round starts, and an end-of-round alert (sound and vibration) a few seconds before each round ends, so you know when to push the pace.

4. Press START

The boxing bell marks the start and end of every round automatically. The screen stays on and your settings are saved for your next session — even offline, because ROUNDS can be installed as an app.
